Bishop John Bernard Delaney

Our Assembly was founded in 1940 and took the name of Bishop Delaney born in Lowell 8/9/1864. He passed to our Lord at the age of 41 on 6/11/1906. He Died from complications after surgery for Appendicitis. His Last words were Cor Jesu Spe Mea. His last words to his mother were "Don't cry, mother dear, I shall tell God about you."

• 1898 became Chancellor of the Diocese of Manchester NH
• Made a Bishop 4/18/1904 by Pope Pius X
• Consercrated second Bishop of Manchester 9/8/1904
